“ Had an amzaing experience at this restuarant. The food was amazing, the owner was lovely and very knowledgable. They were out of shawerma as we had gone quite late (around 10ish I believe) which is a testament to how good it is. We ordered a kafte platter with chicken and lamb kafte. We also got some savoury pastires (spicy beef, cheese and chicken). Everything tasted amazing. I asked the owner to give me a sweet amd savoury pastry of his choice. He gave me a spinch fatayer and I dont remember the name of the sweet (will attach a photo). Hands down the best spinach pastry I have had. The sweet pastry wasnt sickly sweet (as some middle eastern pastries can be, even their baklava was just the right amount of sweet). The portions were good and the price was very reasonable for France. We ordered a kafte platter, 3 savoury pastries, 1 sweet pastry and a mint tea and the total came to 23 euros. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for halal food in France at a reasonable price. To the owner, thankyou for the lovely experience. It was definitely a highlight of my visit to Paris. ”
“ Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent staff. We ate at the second floor which has very nice decor giving off a really cozy ambience. The prices aren't the cheapest but the food is definitely worth it. They allow modification of their dishes to order more of what you like and on my second time here the waiter did a mistake and got me something wrong but it got fixed without any issue by giving us what was missing as an extra. ”
“ Had a lovely time at the Chez Elie. We had arrived in Paris in the morning, reached this place hungry and jet lagged. The owner and staff were most welcoming, arranged the tables and chairs for our group of 7. Food was served almost instantly which was amazing. Food quantity and quality was excellent. We had the Chawarmas, Falafel among others. The Lebanese beer was light and sweet. Loved the experience. Look forward to visit it again on our next visit to Paris. ”
